1. What is Company Inc. (Australia)?

There are many ways to start a business in Australia. Most Popular Business Types are:-
A Company Limited by Shares- The most common is a company limited by shares, being either a proprietary company (called a private company in many other countries) or a public company. A proprietary company must have at least one member, but may not have more than 50 nonemployee members and may not raise funds from the public, whereas a public company has no limits on membership and may raise funds from the public. Public companies may be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), in which case they must also comply with the ASX Listing Rules. A proprietary company is further classified under the Corporations Act as being either “small” or “large”. A company limited by shares must have the word “Limited” or “Ltd” at the end of its name (to indicate the limited liability of the company’s members), whilst a proprietary company limited by shares must also have the word “Proprietary” or “Pty” as the second last word in its name.

Registered Foreign Companies- Companies that are incorporated outside of Australia that wish to carry on business in Australia must be registered with ASIC. Unincorporated bodies that do not have their head office or principal place of business in Australia must also register with ASIC if they wish to carry on business in Australia. A registered foreign company is given the power to hold land in Australia under the Corporations Act.

2. Requirements of Incorporating Company in Australia?

Obtain Identification Number for Director/s- Identification No. is obtained for proposed directors.
Reservation of Corporate Name- The next step is to apply for a name and available name will be approved by Australian Securities & Investment Commission. Once the name approved will be reserved for two months
Registration of Company- Final step towards incorporating a Company is to get it regd. with Australian Securities & Investment Commission. . ASIC will register the company and issue a certificate of registration Within two days of registration, ASIC will issue a unique eight-digit number associated with your company's ACN (known as the corporate key to the company's registered office address

3. Documents Required?

  1. Two Passport Size Photographs of each director/subscriber.
  2. PAN Card (Self Attested & Certified by Gazetted officer/Notary) of each director/subscriber.
  3. Address Proof (Passport/Driving License/Voter id/ Aadhaar card) (Self Attested & Certified by Gazetted officer/Notary) (Details should match the details of PAN) of each director/subscriber.
  4. Copy of Proof of Proposed Reg. office in Australia
  5. Other Forms/Documents required are to be Provided/Prepared by us.

4. Time Required for Company Incorporation?
